I have so many pictures of old but beautiful tree’s that I decided to make a few blog post about them. I love tree’s, they can be so beautiful !!! I don’t understand why some people nag about falling leaves, they want to live in the country, they want a garden but they can’t stand a few fallen leaves on their grass or in the border. Most tree’s here in Belgium have 4 seasons, they are bald in Winter, in Spring they get fresh new leaves, in Summer they give us shade and in Autumn they get nice colours and fruit or nuts or beautiful seedpods, the birds need the tree’s, the insects need the tree’s and also other wildlife need tree’s in order to survive, they purify the air for us, what more do you want ?! Yes they drop their leaves in Autumn and they give you a bit of work but that is a nice and free workout, in the gym you pay lots of money for a workout !
THIS ONE I FOUND IN KENIA, IT WAS THE DRY SEASON SO IT WAS BALD, IT WAS WAITING FOR THE RAIN TO START GROWING LEAVES
ANOTHER KENIAN TREE FULL OF BIRDS NESTS
THIS ONE IS DEAD BUT STILL BEAUTIFUL

THESE ARE FUNNY TREES I FOUND IN SPAIN, THEY REMIND ME OF MEN STANDING ON THEIR HEAD WITH THEIR FEET IN THE AIR
A VERY OLD OLIVE TREE IN SPAIN, LOOK HOW BIG THE TRUNK IS AT THE BOTTOM

I feel the same way you do about the leaves:) The photographs were beautiful and I loved each one. The trees are wonderful and so lovely, each in it’s own way. Thank you so much for this happy and fabulous post.

Such a great variety of trees, I love your description of the upside down man waving his legs in the air… Looking forward to your next forest of trees
The LIME tree is really called a linden in American English to distinguish it from the citrus fruit tree … (The dictionary does not always give us the word that is used commonly.) Lindens are part of my childhood memories in Piemonte, Italy. A marvelous honey is made from the flowers. The platan is also more commonly called a plane tree here. Cheers!
I also love trees. These amazing photos blow my mind for the rest of the evening. They take my breath away. I thank you. What a great idea to have a series dedicated to trees. Vera
