I am ofcourse very happy to see so many signs of Spring but…if Winter decides to pay us a late visite all this will get damaged, so far the weather forecast for the next 2 weeks is ok, about 7 C° during the day and between 2 C° and 5 C° during the nights. We did get lots and lots of rain so far this Winter, no snow yet and I hope we can keep it this way, please keep your fingers crossed !!!

Have a great Sunday all and thanks for stopping by !

  1. You have beautiful Skimia japonica , mine is half dead all the time- it must be something wrong with the soil or climate.Lovely to see spring coming..

  2. Hi Gwennie,
Thanks for liking my post “Featured Plant Jewel Orchid” on

Your garden looks so lovely! And probably warmer than here on the East Coast of the US where it is snowing again!
    Best,

  3. For me it is always are re-affirmation of life, the power of life, to see these returns.Even if they might be damaged somewhat in a new freeze, they still carry enough life-force to come back to you again. I THANK YOU!

    • The weather is soooo unpredicatble these days in the whole world ! Too cold in the US, too hot and too dry in Australia, too much snow in Austria and so on and on so on but I am not complaining !!

  4. Lovely to see spring bursting out, it’s doing the same here in North Cyprus. Leaves are bursting through on the hawthorn and pomegranate trees, our bougainvilleas – which got really knocked by a horrible cold wind a few weeks ago – are sending out shoots. And the field beside us has greened up. Been a very mild winter here, not much below 16-18C and only one day of 8C, but not enough rain. Perhaps we’ll see more in February as temps have dropped down to 12C today.
