Today was a lovely sunny Sunday, ideal for gardening. There is soooo much to do in the garden !!! Cos of the good weather everything is growing fast, especially the weeds ! And since we haven’t had much rain for the past weeks I can’t keep up with watering the pots and all the new planted plants.
Ofcourse I took some pictures for you to see.
THE FIRST CLEMATIS IN BLOOM IN MY GARDEN, CLEMATIS MRS BATEMAN, LOOKS LIKE SHE USED PURPLE MASCARA FOR HER EYELASHES
HERE YOU HAVE ANOTHER LOOK AT MRS BATEMAN
THIS IS ANOTHER DWARF RHODODENDRON, THE OTHER DWARF RHODO’S WERE EARLIER IN BLOOM THIS IS THE LAST OF THE DWARFS TO BLOOM
I HAVE ONE BIG RHODODENDRON IN MY GARDEN, HE BLOOMS A LOT LATER THAN THE DWARFS, I DIDN’T KNOW THAT AS I PLANTED THEM LAST SUMMER, I WILL TAKE A PICTURE WHEN HE IS IN FULL BLOOM
AND THIS IS ROSA SEAGULL, A WHITE RAMBLER WITH A LOVELY SMELL, YOU CAN SEE IT IS FULL OF PROMISING BUDS
How about you, did you do some gardening on your Sunday ?
Have a great week all and thanks for stopping by !
Your garden looks beautiful. We have left our lovely land on .dartmoor behind for our Arctic adventure. The first time for years we have been away in the summer, so no tomatoes growing when we return. Never mind, it is good to travel sometimes.
Well, I’d love to hear about your artic adventure ! Personally I prefer warmer holiday destinations as we get too little sun already here in Northern Europe !
Beautiful.
Mrs Bateman is one of my favourites, Gwennie. And I’ve lost the only one at the Priory. Thanks for the reminder to buy another. Dave
She is a beauty !
Lovely flowers 🙂
The day after I planted seedlings it rained, now I can almost see them growing. Your garden looks beautiful Gwennie
Well seedlings need real rain to grow, you can keep them alive bij watering them but they really need rain !
It does make a big difference, local water is full of chemicals
there is that but it is also brutal when you use a hose to water your plants where as the rain fall softly with little drops….
Everything needs attention. 🙂 Little by little….. Clematis montana is blooming here.
Many weeds are invading my space, so I tried to pulling as many as I could, didn’t get very far!
I know the problem but inbetween pulling weeds you need a rest and enjoy the garden and the good weather too:D
It was lovely to be able to take a wander through your garden!
😀
I live in the desert. On Saturday tree pruning and trimming plus checking on the bubble system for the plants to make sure all are working and giving water in the right places.
Lovely, then you can have a cacti garden !!!!
I sat and admired my maidenhair fern, does that count as gardening? 🙂
I feed her regularly with fish emulsion, boy does she love it!
Oh yes, that counts as gardening too, you HAVE to enjoy your garden a lot you know !:D
Beautiful clematis! Such a lovely vine…
I love them too so I have many in my garden and I am always looking for more……
