I hope you all had a fun Halloween. Halloween is fairly new to me, when I was a child we didn’t know it excisted. I think it is more or less about 10 years now that it was first introduced in Belgium, at the moment you have people who hate it and people who love it. Some people decorate their homes with spooky stuff, but most people don’t (yet), trick or treating is done by very very few kids, I have never had a trick or treater at my door (yet). But now schools have picked up on it and make decorations with the children and they love it so I guess in time people over here will get as mad about it as the Americans. As for November 1st, it is a holiday here and people remember their loved ones who pased away, the week before November 1st the graves get a good clean and then people put flowers or other decoration on the graves, I always find it a very sad day.
I took some pictures when I went to our local graveyard, you’ll see the sun is shining, we had 22 C° on November 1st !!! The bees were having a ball on all the flowers ! We have had years with snow on November 1st or heavy frost !
I THINK THIS SUCCULENT WREATH IS LOVELY AND IT WILL STAY NICE FOR A LOT LONGER THAN THE CHRYSANTHEMUMS
YOU CAN SEE THE TREE’S STILL HAVE A LOT OF LEAFS !
