I took a few pictures in my garden last week. My flowers think it is Spring but it isn’t, not really. I think Springbulbs are very brave ! The weather is still cold, stormy and wet wet wet, so it isn’t fun to work in the garden and there is so much work to be done !
But I have flowers in my garden !
YOU CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON NARCISSUS TETE-A-TETE, THEY ARE ONE OF THE EASIESTS NARCISSES I KNOW AND THEY FLOWER FOR A LONG TIME
I DON’T KNOW HE NAME OF THIS ONE BUT I’VE HAD IT FOR A LONG TIME, THEY ARE A LOT TALLER THAN THE TETE-A-TETE BUT THEY DON’T BLOOM SO EASILY
THIS IS AUBRIETA, I THINK IT IS A VERY CUTE LITTLE FLOWER, IT BLOOMS FOR A LONG TIME AND IT IS WINTERGREEN, THAT IS ALWAYS A PLUS
I HAVE LITTLE VIOLETS EVERYWHERE IN THE GARDEN, AS I HAVE MANY DIFFERENT COLOURS THEIR OFFSPRING IS ALWAYS A SURPRISE
SKIMMIA KEW GREEN IS LATE THIS YEAR, THE BUDS WERE THERE ALL WINTER LONG, I CUT SOME BRANCHES OFF AND PUT THEM IN VASES IN MY LIVINGROOM HOPING THE BUDS WILL BE OPEN IN A FEW DAYS FOR EASTER…….
AND MY AMELANCHIER, NOT YET IN BLOOM BUT ALMOST, USUALLY IT IS IN BLOOM BY THE END OF MARCH BUT NOT THIS YEAR
Same here, plenty of work but not enough motivation to brave the cold and gray. I saw some blossoms on pêche de vigne (not sure what this is in English, I guess a kind of wild peach) today. I hope they won’t get hit by frost.
we are in for a night of frost too, I am soooo sick of it !
It’s such fun to see Springtime in your garden, Gwennie! I live in the Midwest USA. After a very snowy winter, our grass is turning green now. Just today, miniature Irises are blooming near my front porch. I did a happy dance when I saw the first blossoms of Springtime! I think gardeners everywhere can understand… and feel the same way! ♡
Oh yes, we all suffer when Winter is too long and it usually is !!! I am happy we have some good times ahead ! enjoy !!!
Beautiful Spring post 😉
thanks !
