ABOUT A TREE

I have a thing for exotic tree’s and plants but as we live in a cold country it is not always possible but I try and sometimes it is a succes, like with my Albizzia Julibrizzin. It looks exotic and it is not entirely hardy but I have hadit in my garden for about 10 years now and up till now it survived quite low temperatures without help from me. So it is hardier than they say it is.

DOESN’T IT LOOK LOVELY WITH THESE FRESH GREEN LEAVES AND THE SOFT BLOOMS ??!!! tHIS TREE BLOOMS FOR MONTH’S ON END

AUTUMN BLOOMS

Alas, the flowering season is almost finished…..Autumn is not my favorite season, nor is Winter but it is a time to make new plans for next Spring.

Here are a few pictures of my Autumn blooms.

MY ALBIZZIA HAS DONE GREAT THIS SUMMER AND KEPT ON FLOWERING FOR MONTH’S

FUCHSIA MAGELLANICA BLOOMS LIKE CRAZY IN AUTUMN, IT STARTS BLOOMING IN JUNE AND THEN GOES ON TILL THE FIRST FROSTS

TRICYRTIS HIRTUS OR POOR MANS ORCHID, ANOTHER AUTUMN BLOOMER THAT GOES ON AND ON, I DEFINITELY WANT MORE OF THEM IN MY GARDEN

STILL FLOWERING

It’s official, we just had the wettest Summer ever on record !!!! and it shows in the garden, there is not much that survived elegantly and Autumn has been here for a few weeks now, but I am not complaining. There is still a lot of beauty in the garden.

THIS SKIMMIA  white kew IS NOT FLOWERING BUT IT IS ALREADY IN BUD AND WILL STAY LIKE THIS UNTIL IT BLOOMS IN JANUARY OR FEBRUARY

THE PASSIONFLOWER IS STILL BLOOMING AWAY AND PRODUCED LOTS AND LOTS OF FRUIT, ALAS NOT REALLY FOR EATING

ANOTHER FUCHSIA, THIS ONE IS CALLED FUCHSIA TOM POES (MEANS TOM THE CAT) FUNNY NAME FOR A FLOWER !!!! I HAVE A SOFT SPOT FOR THE WHITE ONES

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

A PEEK IN MY GARDEN

Spring was awesome but as soon as Summer started it all went down hill, yesterday was the worst so far, 13 C° !!!! where as 25 is normal for this time of the year over here, we had LOTS of rain and wind, leafs and even small branches were blown off the three’s !!! Today is a lot better, the temps are back in their twenties and the sun  is shining through the clouds !
