Today, Sunday the 2nd of February the sun is shining and I got my camera and went into my garden to take some pictures, what I saw amazed me. We have the softest Winter ever and a lot of my tender plants are still outside in the garden and now I noticed they have new growth, I just couldn’t believe my eyes !

THIS IS A FUCHSIA WHO IS ALREADY GETTING NEW LEAFS WHILE STANDING OUTSIDE IN THE GARDEN

THIS IS A SMALL TWIG OF MY FIG TREE AND IT IS ALREADY SHOWING NEW BUDS AND NEW FIGS

MY BUDDLEIA STILL HAS PART OF HIS OLD LEAFS BUT IT IS GETTING NEW LEAFS AS WELL, NORMALLY IS HAS NO LEAFS IN WINTER

A WHITE FLOWERING SKIMMIA JAPONICA WHITE KEW AND IT IS ABOUT TO BLOOM

MY WHITE FLOWERING PASSIONFLOWER WHO I PLANTED LAST YEAR IN SUMMER BUT DIDN’T BLOOM YET IS GETTING NEW LEAFS !!!

THIS PIERIS IS ABOUT TO BLOOM

OUR 35 YEAR OLD OAKTREE, IS A SMALL LEAFED EUROPEAN OAK, YOU CAN SEE THE SKY IS BLUE AT THE MOMENT

THERE ARE LOADS OF BUDS ON MY AMELANCHIER

HERE YOU CAN SEE THIS IVY IS AWAKE AND GROWING AGAIN
I am ofcourse very happy to see so many signs of Spring but…if Winter decides to pay us a late visite all this will get damaged, so far the weather forecast for the next 2 weeks is ok, about 7 C° during the day and between 2 C° and 5 C° during the nights. We did get lots and lots of rain so far this Winter, no snow yet and I hope we can keep it this way, please keep your fingers crossed !!!
Have a great Sunday all and thanks for stopping by !
