GARDENPICTURES
Today was a lovely Spring day, not too hot with a bit of a cold wind but ideal for working in the garden which I did. I took some pictures for you to see.
RED TULIP, I LOVE THE EYE IN THE MIDDLE, THEY TOOK ME BY SURPRISE AS THEY HADN’T BEEN BLOOMING FOR A FEW YEARS !
ARABIS, THEY HAVE BEEN BLOOMING FOR A WHILE NOW BUT THEY GO ON AND ON, ARABIS DOES NOT GO UNDERGROUND IN WINTER AND I ALWAYS FIND THAT A PLUS
MY EARLIEST BLOOMING DWARF RHODODENDRON, IT BLOOMS EVERY YEAR IN SPRING AND THEN AGAIN IN AUTUMN, NOT AS MUCH AS IN SPRING THOUGH
CALTHA PALUSTRIS IS A SWAMP PLANT, LIKES IT’S FEET IN THE WATER, IT STANDS IN THE SWAMP AREA OF OUR POOL
I COULDN’T RESIST BUYING THIS FUCHSIA WHEN I SAW IT IN A SHOP….
As you can see it was a lovely sunny day and there are more to come !

TODAYS GARDEN PICTURES
Today was a lovely sunny Sunday, ideal for gardening. There is soooo much to do in the garden !!! Cos of the good weather everything is growing fast, especially the weeds ! And since we haven’t had much rain for the past weeks I can’t keep up with watering the pots and all the new planted plants.
Ofcourse I took some pictures for you to see.
THE FIRST CLEMATIS IN BLOOM IN MY GARDEN, CLEMATIS MRS BATEMAN, LOOKS LIKE SHE USED PURPLE MASCARA FOR HER EYELASHES
HERE YOU HAVE ANOTHER LOOK AT MRS BATEMAN
THIS IS ANOTHER DWARF RHODODENDRON, THE OTHER DWARF RHODO’S WERE EARLIER IN BLOOM THIS IS THE LAST OF THE DWARFS TO BLOOM
I HAVE ONE BIG RHODODENDRON IN MY GARDEN, HE BLOOMS A LOT LATER THAN THE DWARFS, I DIDN’T KNOW THAT AS I PLANTED THEM LAST SUMMER, I WILL TAKE A PICTURE WHEN HE IS IN FULL BLOOM
AND THIS IS ROSA SEAGULL, A WHITE RAMBLER WITH A LOVELY SMELL, YOU CAN SEE IT IS FULL OF PROMISING BUDS

ANOTHER DWARF RHODODENDRON WITH IN THE BACK GERANIUM MACRORHIZUM
THE GERANIUM MACRORHIZUM STARTED FLOWERING VERY EARLY THIS YEAR, THIS REALLY IS A VERY STRONG PLANT WHO GROWS EVERYWHERE !!!
I ALREADY HAVE FIGS ON MY TREE !!!
AREN’T THEY CUTE ?!
LOOK AT THE TULIP ON THE LEFT, IT’S THE SAME AS THE OTHER TWO ONLY THE LEFT ONE HAS A VIRUS AND THEREFORE IT HAS STRIPES

MY AMELANCHIER IN FULL BLOOM, THE BUZZING OF THE BEE’S IS AWESOME

THE BEE’S ARE IN LOVE WITH IT. THIS BUSH HAS BUDS FROM EARLY AUTUMN TILL SPRING WHEN IT FINALLY FLOWERS
THE SAME SKIMMIA WITH BUDS
ONE OF THE EARLY DWARF RHODODENDRONS, IT IS ABOUT 20 YEARS OLD NOW AND IT PERFORMS YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR
CALTHA PALUSTRIS (MARSH MARIGOLD) GROWS IN THE MARSH PART OF OUR POND, THE YELLOW OF THE FLOWERS IS SO BRIGHT YOU NEED SUNGLASSES TO LOOK AT IT !
