LA DOUCE FRANCE : PEROUGES 3

When travelling around Pérouges we came across a koi garden so we stopped and had a look, it was beautiful !!! It was so peaceful there, it was a sunny and warm day and the shade of the trees was welcome. The garden was covered in ponds, big ones and smaller ones and there was a large bamboo garden as well. We had a really nice afternoon there and I took loads of pictures of course.

LA DOUCE FRANCE : PEROUGES 2

Today I’ll show you the beauty of Pérouges, a medieval town in France, all the buildings are made between the 12 th and 15 th century, the buildings were restaured several times over the centuries of course but it is protected by the government. It really is a little gem !

LA DOUCE FRANCE: PEROUGES 1

From Dijon we headed South to a place called Pérouges, a place near Lyon. It was absolutely beautiful !

Our first day there was spent in a birdpark nearby, the weather was a bit better than it was in Dijon, but not as good as we had hoped, the temperature was about 18 C but the wind was really cold, nevertheless we had a beautiful day and we saw thousands of birds so my husband was very happy.

I’ll let  the pictures speak for themselves.

LA DOUCE FRANCE: DIJON 3

Today I want to show you the garden of the B&B we stayed at when we were in Dijon. The guy who runs this place was really friendly and his English was good, I prefer to speak French in France as I speak it well enough to make myself clear, when I was 18 I lived and worked in France for 6 month’s so I have no problem with French. This B&B was really a gem, an old big house with 3 guest rooms and 1 guest suite. Every place was really nicely decorated and so was the garden.

I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
