THESE ARE ITALIAN TOMATOES, I THINK THEY’LL NEED MORE TIME TO RIPEN THAN THE SNACK TOMATOES, THEY ARE NOT EVEN BLUSHING AT THE MOMENT

Today was a lovely day, it was warm but very cloudy so it wasn’t too hot, perfect for working in the garden. We cut a few huge branches off the amelanchier as it was getting too big, did some other pruning, some weeding, watering….Tomorrow will be a very hot day so I intend to read a book under my tree with a nice cool drink…no work, just relax and enjoy my garden.

Have a great weekend and I hope you can all enjoy your garden as much as I do !

  1. Oh my God… I love the story about your garden and fruits over them all… beautiful… and tasty… Ah, I love the colors… I love to touch them… Love it ^___^

  2. I hope you have a relaxing time in the garden reading your book. I never get that since I am always finding something to do outside. I just can’t sit still…. I like your new cucumbers. I never heard of them but they sound like they will taste good.

    • Thanks for the compliment I still have a LOT to do in the garden, but then, a garden is never finished, is it ?
Hope you hd a lovely holiday !
Tomatoes sometimes are so heavy that the stems can’t hold the weight, I always try to help with a bit of string and some stalks to help carry the weight as I had branches braking off in the past and that is a shame, isn’t it ? !

  3. Everything is certainly coming along very well. That’s fantastic. I’ve heard about the heat over there. It sounds very much like our horrid summer weather.

    • we are not used to high temperatures over here but I think in the US it is a lot worse, we sure have enough water here to wash ans water everything, to fill swimminpools and ponds and that sure is a big plus !
how is your Winter ? normal or not ?
